Rain or Shine Riviera Club at Trackside
I remember we discovered this spot Memorial Weekend in 2024. We went back three times within that week to try each of their offerings. Fast forward to today and our favorite go-to is the “Love Me Tenders” which comes with “Ticker Tots” (Tater tots, but them call them ticker!) and their Mango Fruit Slush. I’m pretty sure it’s the slushie that keeps us coming back…
While colloquially it’s known as Rain and Shine, it’s full name is Rain or Shine Riviera Club and it operates seasonally in The Portal Container Village at Bellingham’s waterfront, also colloquially known as Trackside.
What I love about this spot is there is plenty of room with shaded picnic tables, it’s well-kept, clean, and the food is good and the workers are always happy to talk to you.
Trackside at times can be overrun with families and kids, birthday parties, other parties, but Rain and Shine is just off the main path near the entrance so many people just mosey on by. Making this spot quieter and easier to enjoy your meal and talk to your friends in the shade.
In Summary — Rain or Shine go visit Rain or Shine Riviera Club!They have some exciting boozie slushies, but as I’m sure you’ve noticed throughout this blog, we don’t drink so we don’t visit bars or have much to say about that whole slice of Bellingham. But our friends who get them really enjoy them, particularly the Saké Slush left an impression.
