Restaurants For Groups of 10+ People Late At Night
Let’s say you’ve just finished an event, an outing, a board game party, whatever, and it’s 11:00PM, your group has people younger than 21 and you all just want to go somewhere to get a bite to eat buuuut you don’t want to just go to some random fast food chain.
I’m excited to share a list of local places to eat for large groups late at night that aren’t bars!
Pye Hole
Pizza by the slice! And these are MASSIVE slices. This is just a little open window off the side of Fiamma Pizza in Downtown Bellingham. There isn’t a spot to sit down and eat but it’s great for a big group to meander too, get a bite to eat and go!
El Capitan’s
The go to spot for gourmet sausages, pretzels and taproom. They are open till 2AM on Fridays and Saturdays and fairly late on the weekdays as well. They have an expanded seating area known as The Crow’s Nest Taproom plus a nice outdoor and smaller seating space.
McKay's Taphouse and Pizzeria
Decadent pizza and great house-made root beer. They offer pizza by the slice as well and this spot offers a fun bar-pub aesthetic while still allowing folks under 21 to be present. I’ve come here many times after theatre performances with a swarm of cast and crew and they always accommodate us without breaking a sweat (at least that I can see!).
Those are the places I’ve been too recently, other options for meet-ups after events with an age range are:
In Summary - Adventure into the darkness and feed the friends!
I am so thankful that Bellingham has great local eating spots so we aren’t all subjected to the fast-food chains that are open 24/7 — Though, McDonald’s fries and a Sprite can really hit the spot late at night. Let me know if I missed a great late-night location that allows our under 21-crew to go too!
