Best Breakfast Scrambles
We’re talking scrambles that have been continuously stirred to perfection transformed into that soft, fluffy texture mixed with cheese, veggies, meats, resulting in that customized delicious breakfast you were craving. Both Eggs and Tofu Scrambles!
Good Morning (I assume)! Glad you’re here and looking for the best scrambles in Bellingham. While I am an Eggs Benedict connoisseur myself, I do love a good scramble and BOY, does Bellingham have it’s offerings of where to go! In no particular order we have:
Old Town Café
Old Town is an OLD favorite for sure! I will warn, if you are ravenously hungry you might be in for a wait — But it is definitely worth it.
They offer a good variety of Tofu Scrambles as well. Which are cubed organic tofu grilled with cumin and tamari. At the time of writing this blog, they offer Greek Tofu, Northwest Tofu, Southwest Tofu, and Garden Tofu that are all noted as vegan options on their menu.
The Daisy Cafe
This is a great homey brunch and breakfast spot. Very relaxed authentic dining experience. For scrambles, check out the Hoppel Poppel. It’s description reads: “Sautéed hickory smoked bacon, garlic, red onions, mushrooms & country-cut red potatoes, scrambled together with 2 eggs * and topped with Tillamook cheddar. Served with toast from our friends at Avenue Bread.”
Little Cheerful Café
This is one of the most compact eateries in town. It’s noisy so come prepared and ready to be delighted! They have this bright old-timey aesthetic that really draws you in. It reminds me of the cartoons that used to sing for the movie theatre, “let’s all go to the lobby~” Anyone? And get ourselves a snack!
Other Scramble options beyond Bellingham are:
Acme Diner in Acme
Cedars in Ferndale
In Summary — Something About "Cafes" and Scrambles…?
I like how the places I came across and folks recommended to me all had Cafe in the name! There are plenty of great breakfast places in town. I’m thinking I’ll have to make another blog for brunch and breakfast! But for now, I’m hungry for a scramble!
