Where to Go Fishing

While I’m not a angler by any means, I asked around and the fishing-hobbyists in my life suggested the following places to visit:

• Lake Whatcom

• Lake Padden

• Toad Lake

• Lake Terrell

• Lake Fazon — “You’ll need a boat!”

• Fragrance Lake

• Nooksack

There seem to be a mixture of small mouth and large mouth and “stock trout” too!

I think the biggest take away I got from asking around was everyone said to download the FishWA app and to check there for the latest. Of course, as always check state regulations and I have also learned the staff at REI in Sehome do a great job of helping new fishing folks!
